• The History of Doughchet (DG)

Our recently established country is called Doughchet. Our small tropical island is located of the warm waters of South America. Our country was once a colony of the Spanish back in the late 1800's. Tired of the Spanish harsh, and unfair treatment our country set out on a mission for independence. After a few years of fierce protest, cruel punishments, and countless fatalities the Spanish finally decided to grant us our independence. With our newly found freedom we needed stability and order, because soon after our revolution ended our country fell into curruption and chaos. Our government was established through the social contract theory because our country's individuals are united into a society by a process ofmutualconsent, agreeing to abide by certain rules and to accept duties to protect one another from violence, fraud,or injustice.

Our national bird is the Atlantic puffin which lives in the Atlantic.

It is a pelagic bird that feeds on fish, and sea creatures such as squid and crustaceans.
The atlantic puffin is black and white, with gray to white cheeks and red orange legs.
It’s bill is triangular shapped and during the breeding season it’s bright orange with a patch
of blue bordered by yellow at the rear. This bird is typically silent at sea.

Our country is located in the middle of the Atlanctic Ocean
which is bounded on the west by North and South America. It connects to the
Arctic Ocean through the Denmark Strait,Greenland Sea, Norwegian Sea, Barents Sea.

The capitals of our small, tropical island is called Solita. Gambele, Candela, Veltran, Martin,
Amandus are the largestcities following our capital. The environment of Doughchet is moderate
and has less extreme season, perfect for tropical fruits and wild flowers.

Doughchet is a little bit bigger than Spain
Cocunuts, Salt, and tropical forests.
About 35% can be farmed.
Our country biggest issues is hurricanes. Hurricanes hits around twice but with a category 2.
Also our country can get extremely hot because were near the equator
